Meet The President
Dr. Steve Midson has a Ph.D. in metallurgical engineering from the University of Sheffield in the UK and more than 30 years’ experience as a metallurgical and metal casting expert.
Dr. Midson has authored more than 100 technical papers, more than 10 books, and several chapters for textbooks. He has produced books and webinars and taught classes on many aspects of die casting, including process technologies, maximizing die life, prevention of defects, and additive manufacturing. He has received awards from the North American Die Casting Association, the American Foundry Society, the Society of Automotive Engineers, and the University of Sheffield.
